"The hotel its self is very grand and impressive. Parking is limited but there’s another car park literally over the road. Check-in was easy although a little noisy. It’s hard not to be impressed with such an amazing historical building. The room was absolutely massive. Bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Great choice of fresh pastry’s and the hot selection was of really good quality. Would definitely like to rerun again. "

"We had a wonderful 2 night stay here. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our small double room had everything we needed including the coffee machine, fridge, sink and microwave. The toiletries from Molton Brown were a nice touch too. Great central location. We would definitely return "

"The hotel has an excellent ocation right by Albert Dock and Liverpool One,and a short walk to the center. We found our room to be very clean, but a bit on the small side. They offer an excellent buffet breakfast with various hot and cold dishes. Parking is available at the 2-minute walk nearby Q-Park John Lewis (where the hotel can offer a discount). I would not hesitate to stay here again."

"Utterly disappointed, this was a special gift to our parents who were celebrating their golden wedding and first time in Liverpool. They were there 3 nights and never once had their room service. They ran out of tea, coffee and toilet roll. My parents don’t like to make a fuss but had to complain on their third day. No beds were made and no towels replaced. I am so disappointed that their experience and our gift to them was a let down."

"Room was ok. Shower very directional. Coffee wasn’t refreshed so 2nd day had to have decaf :(. Fire alarm seemed to malfunction in the early hours was instructed to leave immediately, then went off, then made noises intermittently each time I fell asleep. No explanation at checkout, at checkout, neither lift worked. Otherwise reasonable hotel, in good position in the centre of city."

"Bloody noisy. The thump thumping of (next door?) disco sounds made sleep impossible until midnight. Couldn't even hear the music, just the loud dull thumping of the bass."
