"The hotel it’s self was nice, however it felt a bit like a frat house. I had a group of drunk people knocking on my door at 2am, and there were lots of loud groups in and out. In the morning there were empty beer bottles around the entrance of the building."

"What a great place! The room was comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the free jazz night and the sauna. Enjoyed the hot tubs but jets and hotter water would make it better. There are so many things happening there- it’s upbeat and socially aware. The staff love their jobs and it shows. I’ve already recommended it several times. "

"Zimmer war nicht sauber. Beim betreten des Zimmers habe ich viele Haare im Bad gehabt. Es wurde wahrscheinlich nicht wirklich gesaugt. Betten waren auch nicht so bequem. Personal ist jedoch sehr herzlich."

"Convenient location, but we had issues with the AC the entire time. We notified the front desk 3 times. The 1-2 time, they told us they could change the temperature of the AC from the front desk, and the 3rd time, we found out that we were in a separate tower and they were not able to change the temperature as they said... the AC was just not working in our room..."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bedstee hotel. It was located in a great spot, just a brisk walk to the Rijks, Van Gogh, MOCO and Stedelijk Museums. The room was comfortable, had plenty of airflow and enough room to fit 2 small suitcases and regular sized bags. It wasn’t super spacious but it is a capsule after all. Clean and very comfy for my boyfriend and I. Unfortunately you can hear your neighbors coming in and out, as well as any moderate volume conversation from outside the room....

"Terrible room with ridiculously small bathroom. Sink was such poor design almost unusable. Breakfast awful.. cold scrambled eggs and bacon, minimal cold meat cheese etc. Dining area gloomy and shabby. The only good feature was the very helpful reception desk staff."

"The hotel was very disappointing and does not match the photos shown on expedia. The property is old, worn out, and poorly maintained. There was no proper heating in the room. The only option was an air conditioner, which could only be set up to 22°C and automatically turned off during the night. Cold air was coming from the window, and the room was freezing. The towels were not changed during the stay. We asked at the reception in the evening, but were told there were no extra towels...
