"Excellent hotel, very friendly staff, very comfortable bed. Beautiful surroundings. We loved the storks. It would be good if there were some wheat/gluten free options on the breakfast buffet."

"Great hotel, exceptional staff!"

"Room was clean & well appointed with good temperature control, fridge, lovely shower & double sinks, which was a nice touch. Staff were friendly & helpful. Capuccino in the lobby was nice too."

"The location was good and very peaceful, but also close to the shopping area, which was nice. The staff were very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, the bed which was shown at the time of booking was different from the beds available when we reached the hotel. We booked at this hotel specifically because we thought there would be one whole, solid double bed. Instead, the bed was made of two single beds pushed together, with no mattress pad on top. "Great place to stay"

"Staff was great, room excellent. "

"Perfect location for a few nights visiting family"

"Princenhof is really well located and all rooms face the water. Fantastic food too."

"Fantastic staff, so helpful and nice"

"Lovely B&B to stay at. The breakfast was outstanding and the hosts are lovely. Definitely worth a stay!"

"Really fun little hotel, with super helpful staff, who took care of our every need. The larger rooms on the first floor are really great, with a bathtub in the room and nice decor. We did have a night in a second floor room also- just a bit small for us- we’ve been traveling for a while so have more stuff than someone on a weekend away- though still lovely decor and nice and quiet. We used this hotel as a base to explore the area of Friesland and were really happy with the choice."

"All was lovely, thanks "

"Het vakantiepark is voorzien van woningen die direct aan het water liggen en voorzien van aanlegsteigers. Vanaf hier kun je vissen. Je vangt ook vis. Op het park is het erg rustig en voor waterliefhbbers het ultieme. In Akkrum is niets te beleven. Wel enkele restaurants. Bakker, slager en supermarkt ook aanwezig."

"No sleep because of wedding. Noise until 3 at night with loud music and talking. "

"Beautiful large room, excellent view, great sitting areas inside and out. Comfortable bed, excellent breakfast. Very cool hotel. Great walkability. "

"Great staff, welcomes you with a smile."

"Lekker ontbijt, aardig personeel. Staat van de kamer slecht. Plekken in het plafond, behang niet netjes geplakt of komt los. Deur van de badkamer die niet past. Bed sliep dan wel weer lekker."
