"The property was beautiful, the staff was amazing! There was a beautiful bar and a happy hour! The bathroom was a bit small and the room seemed a little dated, but it’s an older palace and the history is so cool. We would return again! The area around the hotel is okay, it’s just very hard to cross a street as the traffic is insane-but that’s all of Kathmandu. "

Exceptional customer service and do take advantage of the breakfast option if you love a flower filled restaurant area in a secret garden off of the bustling street. "Great hotel. I come to Nepal often and will stay here every time I come to Kathmandu. Great staff. Great room. Very clean. Comfortable bed. One thing to beware of however... Taxis are only allowed to drive to hotel early or late in the day. Rush hour you have to be dropped off a short block away. Not a big deal at all though. Worth the short 1 min walk for the hotel experience! Also, it costs around 1000NRP for taxi to and from airport to this hotel. The hotel takes care of it, even the fare....
