"The staff was attentive and the hotel was beautiful. Nearby walking trails and creek were a surprise bonus"

"The staff was pleasant, but unfortunately, the property and room itself were dirty and poorly maintained. The sheets were not clean, the shower had not been properly cleaned, and trash from other rooms was left sitting in the hallways for most of the day(s) Luckily, we had plans and were out for most of our stay, so we didn’t have to spend much time dealing with the condition of the property. However, I would not stay here again. They also charge $10 for breakfast, which was disappointing...

"Lady at the counter wasn’t very friendly. Seemed like she had a chip on her shoulder or just having a bad day. No microwave in the room because they said they are health focused. I’m not sure how a microwave is “unhealthy”. The rooms are pretty nice but the blinds/shades in the room didn’t function very well."

"The Hotel is only a few years old and I stay there whenever we go into Detroit for an event. The staff is awesome and the breakfast in the morning is far better than other hotels with using real plates, silverware etc... Been there four times and never had a bad experience."
