This is a stand-out property in the most stunning location. The staff, food and rooms are excellent. Everything is spotless. Pay a small supplement to eat up at the top of the cliff at Eagle’s Nest restaurant. It’s worth the climb! The only downside is that the pool is a bit cold.

An excellent lodge in a beautiful location. Each room is in a separate building spaced around the ridge and overlooking the valley towards the Terrace, a geological feature that changes with the light through the day. Loved this place. Very peaceful. Well appointed family rooms, with everything we needed for a one night stay. Communal areas were great. Nice friendly staff. We did our own drive in the grounds and saw plenty of wildlife. Will definitely come back but stay in the Mountain Lodge next time.

Really good choice just off the main road. Team very welcoming. Great opportunity to see some game at a waterhole. Evening meal was really good but if you want a wide choice then not for you. It was a buffet style. Wifi is outside and away from the restaurant area and although good connectivity, not very relaxing place to sit. Overall though, I’d recommend this place. It’s a little quirky too

Very good all round for the money. The evening meal could have been cooked a bit better as the steaks were overcooked other good.

We had a wonderful time at Waterberg Wildness. We stayed in the Valley Lodge. Note that there are several different lodges all a few km apart. We enjoyed a self-hike and also did the game drive offered. It is guaranteed to see rhinos as they live within the farm/reserve itself. We also saw giraffes in the park. Fantastic room and lovely little restaurant. A great stop off on the journey between Windhoek and Etosha.

Friendly welcome, genial atmosphere, ample accommodation in beautiful surroundings. Although all other guests and owners and management are German, my lack of the language was not a problem. Indeed the communal meal arrangements gave a homely atmosphere.

Meteorite Rest Camp is on a commercial farm which makes it totally different from other places we stayed at. We met the friendly owner Madelein and her husband, and heard a bit about life there. In the evening 1000s of red-billed quelia birds roost just the campsite, amazing to see. At night it's total silence with a clear sky for the stars. The chalet was a good size and comfy with a kitchenette. The pool was great to cool down in the afternoon.
