"Very quiet, nice food. Not super as a solo traveler"

"We had a nice night at Khan River Lodge. The bed and cottage were comfy and the staff was very kind. It is a two hour ride from Windhoek to the town and a forty five minute ride down a terrible dirt road to get to the hotel. Also we had no WiFi until a guest of the hotel reset the router, and then again it was only by the office that we were able to receive it."

"We stayed in a Double room (Point of View) at Düsternbrook and very much enjoyed the tranquility and the incredible view at the pool and our room & deck. The staff are all kind, helpful and happy to answer all questions. Whilst driving to the lodge we already spotted heaps of animals like giraffes, warthogs, all kind of birds, baboons, Kudus, springboks etc., so driving slowly pays off. "Beautiful lodge recently renovated and only 30 minutes outside of Windhoek. The food was phenomenal. Best steak we’ve ever had. "

"Sehr schöne zentrale Empfangshalle, Restaurant und Gartenanlage. Zimmer sind in die Tage gekommen und sehr hellhörig (Sprache, Bewegung ....) Autobahn A1 ist auch sehr naheliegend. Essen ist sehr lecker und das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit."
