This is a stand-out property in the most stunning location. The staff, food and rooms are excellent. Everything is spotless. Pay a small supplement to eat up at the top of the cliff at Eagle’s Nest restaurant. It’s worth the climb! The only downside is that the pool is a bit cold.

An excellent lodge in a beautiful location. Each room is in a separate building spaced around the ridge and overlooking the valley towards the Terrace, a geological feature that changes with the light through the day. Outstanding property with amazing level of service. Villas are superb great views, fantastic restaurant as well.

Loved this place. Very peaceful. Well appointed family rooms, with everything we needed for a one night stay. Communal areas were great. Nice friendly staff. We did our own drive in the grounds and saw plenty of wildlife. Will definitely come back but stay in the Mountain Lodge next time.

Very good all round for the money. The evening meal could have been cooked a bit better as the steaks were overcooked other good.

We had a wonderful time at Waterberg Wildness. We stayed in the Valley Lodge. Note that there are several different lodges all a few km apart. We enjoyed a self-hike and also did the game drive offered. It is guaranteed to see rhinos as they live within the farm/reserve itself. We also saw giraffes in the park. Friendly welcome, genial atmosphere, ample accommodation in beautiful surroundings. Although all other guests and owners and management are German, my lack of the language was not a problem. Indeed the communal meal arrangements gave a homely atmosphere.

Excellent lodge maintained and run to high standards, particularly in the area of catering.
