"We had to check in late as our daughter was attending a wrestling event on the beach and it wouldn’t get over till later than check in time. I called and they made it effortless! It was a great stay! In the morning we walked across the street to a diner and had a great breakfast! While we were gone that day they tidied up our room and replaced what we used the room was not only clean when we got there but they kept it clean for the 3 days we were there! Would definitely stay again!"

I stayed in Cabin #1 and really enjoyed sitting on the patio in the evening after the sun went down. However, the camera’s motion sensor kept detecting movement, so the light kept turning on and off. That was probably the only downside of my stay, as I was hoping to relax and enjoy the evening outside without the light constantly coming on."

The hotel is built with "green" construction and amenities such as recycled wood for some construction, ceramic coffee cups in the rooms, bamboo tissue, and recycling at several points on the premises. "They didn't tell us the swimming pool is salt water they didn't tell us there was stairs the room was dirty and dusty and they tried to double charges for $400 they said that they would give us our pet deposit back and never did the the desk help was very rude I had to use my cell phone to show him our room was paid for will never return no thank you"

"I loved being close to the beach…It wasn’t viewable but was walkable. The beach was very quiet. Westport was about 4 miles north. We really enjoyed seeing the fishing boats and watching them return laden with fish…watching people use the crab traps…there are different areas to walk out over the water to enjoy the bay… also plenty of fresh seafood to taste!"

"Wonderful place to enjoy a few days on Long Beach. The grounds are very well maintained and quiet. Quick walk to the beautiful sandy beach. The cottages are exceptionally clean. Bedding, towels, kitchen needs were great. The owners are gracious and kind. They provide many items and advise the store is just a quick drive down the street. Great places for dogs as well. Mined loved it! We look forward to returning next summer."
