"Decent place. We were only in town for a quick work trip so we didn’t need anything grand. The waffles for breakfast were good. If you’re looking for a view, it’s probably not the most impressive place but beds were comfy. It’s close to downtown New Bern and there’s an Outback right across the street that you can walk to for dinner."

"Location was beautiful, beds were comfortable, air conditioning worked great, and appreciated the black out curtains. Our daughter loved the balcony and view of the water. Water pressure in the shower was very nice and towels were super soft. Breakfast from the Bistro was expensive but delicious!!"

"The property and my room were clean. Very nice furnitures and great decoration! The location was great and very convenient ; close to downtown and all historical locations . The breakfast was good. But My bed was uncomfortable; the mattress's very hard and the pillows were not good . Gladly , I had my own pillow, otherwise I would have neck ache . The lady was polite and organized but not very welcoming. I didn’t feel that warm feeling. Anyway, it was a good trip. New Bern is a beautiful town."

"This was our second stay at this hotel and it was wonderful. It is not easy traveling with an 80lb. dog and they make you feel so welcome. The staff is super friendly, they provide a welcome bag for you and for your fur baby. The rooms are always clean, we can leave our dog in the room unattended {HUGE plus}, and the grounds are great for dog walking. The breakfast is always good too. "We were in town for an event and only had a one night stay. Everything about the Inn was a delight. We were made to feel at home by the staff from the first moment as Tracy gave us a tour of the amenities and showed us to our room. The homemade ginger cookies in the break area were yummy. "We loved the area, condo really needs some TLC inside and out. Bathrooms and slider especially. Kitchen could use some more silver wear, cookie sheet and a pizza pan. Pools and rec center were awesome. Activities are a plus!! All in all we had a great stay and would be back again! "

"We stayed for 1 night. Linda was very responsive and communication was above par. She’s accommodating when we arrived at almost midnight. She greeted us and allowed us a late check out so we could get more shut eye and a chance to walk around and explore New Bern downtown. Breakfast was superb. The dining room was well equipped with fresh fruits and brownies. I highly recommend Meadows Inn."
