"It is a beautiful old French house with many traditional features we enjoyed a lovely stay there. Sondrine the proprietor was extremely helpful in every aspect from helping us with our poor French language skills to everything you can mention cannot rate it highly enough."

"I personally like the convenience and privacy of an ensuite, which is the only reason Trecastle doesn't get five stars all the way. That aside it's an excellent place to stay with lovely, friendly hosts and secure garage parking for my motorbike. I will return."

"The property it's self is fairly nice, it's a self check in and they send you a code a day in advance to get in. But my biggest problem is that he only way to contact the property is to email them and wait for an answer. I needed parking and description said limited so I tried several times in advance to get clarification on parking..finally heard from them the day of check in when I had already parked in a paid lot down the street! When I got there check in was easy, room was basic but...

"The hotel was very clean in a good area. Parking was easy. The staff were very polite and efficient and the breakfast was excellent."

"We booked a "Superior Room, Balcony and Bath", overlooking the plaza below. The 4th floor room was good, and quiet enough for sleeping. The mattress was not as good as at other Mercure hotels we stayed at in France: it didn't have that extra soft padding layer on top that the others did. Breakfast was good. No evening restaurant though, and room service for dinner consisted of reheated jars of food, not quite what we expected. Do NOT order the room service!! Parking was under the hotel,...

"We arrived very late at night and the communication from the hotel by email was excellent. The provided instruction on how to obtain entry to the room and it worked perfectly. The only small downside us parking. They have very adequate parking, but if you are late in arriving the spaces are very limited and poor parking by other guests made it even more difficult."
