"Im Gegensatz zu Marathon, Alpine oder Marfa liegt Sanderson doch noch ein Stück weiter weg vom Big Bend Nationalpark. Daher liegen die Preise für Unterkünfte deutlich tiefer. Gewisse Preise in den drei erwähnten Orte sind schon unverschämt, vor allem, wenn man sich die Gasthäuser von aussen ansieht. Entsprechend tief waren meine Erwartungen, als ich meine Reise Richtung Osten vom Big Bend NP her kommend hier unterbrach. Ich war sehr positiv überrascht.
