"We stayed for one night as we toured UNCW. It was very disappointing that there was a fee to park. We found that pretty outrageous, especially for Wilmington. We didn’t find the lady who checked us in to be very warm. The air was set to 68 and it was still extremely hot while we slept. There was a greasy handprint on the refrigerator door. "The Staff is what made this stay a good stay. The front desk staff did what they could to help us out. We had to wait an hour and a half to get our suite. The pull out sofa did not have proper linens and blankets. However, the breakfast was quite good. The indoor pool, though small, was good for kids. The hotel is close to many Wilmington attractions. A solid B+."

"The property and motel and staff were great. I highly recommend staying here but don’t book it through Expedia because they charge you more instead of saving money. Book directly with the hotel. We had to stay another night and saved money by booking with the hotel. I thought Expedia was supposed to save you money. I won’t make that mistake again."
