"The hotel is in need of refurbishment to say the least the bar area was disgusting seats broken only bottles as pumps not working and dirty glasses infact the hotel should be condemned. The only saving grace was the staff and the breakfast the staff were polite,friendly and helpful especially Annie who made breakfast service a pleasure. Disappointing that hotels.com have this on there web site as im sure if they sent an inspector they would not recommend this hotel I for one will not be...

"Good hotel is a little dated in places but it is an old building so you can’t expect tout to be to modern, floor boards are very noisy and the window are not double glazed so can here outside noise. The breakfast was fabulous and the staff go above and beyond to help. "

"the toilet seat was broken , when we reported this they said they would inform maintenance, although they had dining rooms we had to go over the road to there sister hotel for our evening meal which we were overcharged for, on getting back to our hotel the toilet had not been fixed and we had to go to reception for a second time , we were told that they would move us to the sister hotel across the road, we had no help in moving just told to go over to the other hotel we were told we could have...
