"This placs is absolutely amazing. Its nice and quiet and the beauty of the water and the comfort of the rooms are definitely some reasons that we will be back. There are lots of places to eat and entertainment in the surrounding area. We had a kitchenette and it had everything we needed had we decided to cook and eat in the room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. "

"The pillows smelled of body odor. Very old and not cleaned. Spidars webs everywhere. Hair in the sink and they lost water upgraded to a cottage that was old not updated but very disappointing. "

"We stayed here for a night on a trip down south, and we were blown away with how nice the room and property were. The owners were extremely generous and provided us with smores to cook with our kids in the fireplace in the covered porch area. Couldn't recommend this place enough "

"Very nice stay. Loved the area. Sat in the cool air on the front porch in a rocking chair after a long day's drive. Frank was an excellent host. Quiet at night. "

"I never made it to breakfast until the last day & there were only remnants. I saw chocolate hostess cakes & some of what was left of cereal in the containers. Beds were comfortable, staff was nice but our bathroom light over mirror flickered or never worked & the test/reset buttons never kicked in for the hairdryer to work. This was much more affordable than staying up the mountain in Franklin or Highlands, but the light/hairdryer made it hard to get ready. No towel replacement on our 2nd night....

"It didn't look like much from the outside, but our room was surprisingly clean. Unfortunately, it was VERY noisy with high amounts of traffic going right by the room. There were extremely bright lights right outside the door that made it look like daylight even at night. I have a really hard time sleeping with noise and light. The A/C had a very loud ROAR every time it turned on. However, the straw that broke the camel's back was the "continental" breakfast that was offered. The coffee...

"Linda and Mike were outstanding hosts and welcoming to us. They were accommodating to special diet needs, and anxious to meet our requests. Food was delicious, the sitting area was cozy and our room was perfect. If it were possible we’d give 10 stars. Mike us a tour of the mill and a history of the property that made the whole experience fulfilling. "
