"I've stayed here before and enjoyed it, but this stay wasn't as good as the last one. They boast about the fancy showers, but mine was mostly broken and in a sad state. I also didn't like the idea of having to book the hot tub and sauna on check in. That's something I decide to do on the spur of the moment. I did not have to book it last time. I will probably stay again, but I won't be recommending it so enthusiastically anymore. "

What I liked the most is that while being private enough, I didn't feel removed from life as it has a nice central common area with coffee and seating area that even has games available. It makes it easy to meet people if you choose to do so. "

"The property is a beautifully restored Victorian house and our room had amenities such as a fridge, coffee maker, hot pot, and robes. There were dishes and a microwave was available in the hall. We stayed in the Cedar room, which had a view of Nelson from up high. Although it has a detached bathroom down the hall, the bathroom is for that room only. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially assisting us to get an early check in because my husband was ill. Highly recommend!"
