"We spoilt ourselves with 2 nights in Ahas Pokuna. This is a truly special place. Greeted at the road side by Arun our naturalist guide we were immediately enveloped in the forest following a footpath (truly the only access) leading us up the the very exclusive camp. We were the only guest and had the middle of three tent suites/tree houses. The beautifully maintained grounds of the camp are full of birds and the staff are always attentive. "We had an amazing stay at Mansala Safari House. The hosts are very kind and welcoming, and the house itself is clean and comfortable. The hosts arranged two safaris for us which were both excellent; the driver picked us up directly from the accommodation and was very knowledgeable about the park. We had the car completely to ourselves as well. The hosts provided breakfast in the morning, and also gave us water bottles and coffees for the safaris. "Det var det charmigaste och mest genuina hotell vi bodde på under våra två veckor på Sri Lanka. Mannen och frun som drev detta mycket familljära hotellet var otroligt vänliga och hjälpsamma. Maten var vällagad och god och värd att vänta på. Hotellet ligger endast 5 minuters bilfärd till nationalparken. Det är dessutom mycket prisvärt. Kan varmt rekommenderas. "
