"Everyone was friendly and helpful. Breakfast and parking were super convenient. Location was perfect for being able to walk to everything. Our room was comfortable. We really appreciated the water in the lobby as this allowed us to fill out water bottles daily to help us stay hydrated in the higher elevation. I would highly recommend staying here! "

"Front desk staff often not well informed and there was attitude a couple times instead of courteousness. Cleaning staff making loud banging noises by letting hotel room doors slam shut. Unsafe curbs of uneven cement between hotel stairs and parking area. Rooms dark, poor lighting making it hard to see when packing. Otherwise it’s a nice place with beautiful decor and close to plaza. "

"The environment was unique and peaceful, and the SW decor was charming. The staff were attentive, friendly, professional, and very welcoming to my two dogs. The other guests were extremely friendly as well. The DT location is perfect for walking to galleries, museums, and dining."

"Clean room, old building, recently remodeled pool area that was awesome! “Living room” great for happy hour (get there before 6pm). Within walking distance of the town square. Great options for in-room service, not any more expensive than the nearby restaurants."

"La Fonda is completing some renovations, so that was the only surprise at check in. Would have appreciated a notice before arrival. Lobby bar closes at 9 pm, a little early on a Friday/Saturday night. "

"The staff were friendly and room was clean. Having parking was really nice. I wish there would have been something stated in the amenities about season A/C and no elevator. We got a room starting with a 1 which I assumed was the first floor but was sadly mistaken when we opened the door to a nice long set of stairs. Thankfully we were capable of climbing stairs and travel with a fan. Again, it's a pretty hotel but those two things (A/C and stairs) were a deal breaker."

"Front desk was helpful. Wait staff needs training, ex. Long waits for service, inefficient, unprofessional. Patio service in our room was unusable due to lack of cleanliness and ruined chair cushions. Housekeeping staff was excellent. Pool was clean, but pool lounge chair cushions need replacing- very shabby, stained, ripped. Spa was nice, however some tattered towels should be changed out. "

"Fresh and plump breakfast burritos amonst the standard breakfast fare. Plenty of parking, easy to find. Doesnt face the busy road so it was somewhat quiet with the fan running. Gym had a roller for sore muscles and the place was decorated with really nice southwestern art."
