"Wir waren für eine Nacht im Ahorn Hotel am Fichtelberg und können es besonders für Familien mit Kindern empfehlen. Es gibt ein breites Unterhaltungsangebot: Kino, Abendveranstaltungen und sogar Minigolf direkt im Hotel. Auch ein Pool ist vorhanden – dieser war bei unserem Besuch zwar geschlossen, aber der Wellnessbereich macht insgesamt einen guten Eindruck (auch wenn wir ihn nicht genutzt haben). "Upon arriving and informing the front desk I was there to check in I was simply told ‘no’. When I explained I had a reservation through Expedia the lady checked and proceeded to check me in but continued complaining about it. Hardly welcoming. We just wanted to get some snacks from the restaurant and watch the football but the restaurant was really full service with no option to get snacks. We were told any food we wanted would take an hour. We asked if we needed a reservation but were told no...

"Mir hat die Unterkunft gefallen ,Frühstück war auch hervorragend!"

"Leider liegt das Hotel direkt an der Bundesstrasse. Ab ca. 5 Uhr ist starker Verkehrslärm. Super Service. Zimmer sehr gross. Das Bad ist aber leider etwas klein. Fichtelbergbahn Station unterhalb vom Hotel. Empfehlung für nicht Lärm empfindliche Gäste."

"We bought the location. But of course hoped for a nice hotel too. The pictures weren’t bad. In reality it’s dull, tight, incommodious, and we had a broken piece of furniture. Very clean though, with a nice coffee smell (but no way to have a coffee unless you go out or did not forget to fill in and submit a breakfast form last night, given that the nearest cafes are closed till noon). Next time in Oybin, we will choose a different place, sorry"

"Je to pěkný hotel, čistota celého hotelu a pokoje, koupelny byla na vysoké úrovni, dostali jsme o něco lepší pokoj, fotografie na webu jsou reálné a plně odpovídají skutečnosti. Polopenze byla moc dobrá a pití, když sedíte u baru rozváží vláček, opravdu moc pěkné. Stránky uvádějí, že je wifi-internet jen ve vstupní hale, ale mile mě překvapilo, že není žádný problém se k internetu připojit i na pokoji."
