"This is a beautiful hotel for a great price point. The room was clean and updated with a picturesque sea view. The beach area was perfection, I absolutely loved being able to have a private area to swim right into the sea and with lounge chairs. The food at the restaurant was amazing. The only thing is that it is not very walkable to downtown Cefalu unless everyone in your party is in shape and not too old or too young as it is a mile walk and up hill. We had to take a taxi in and out every time...

"A two part review. Pros - a large hotel with great infrastructure, lovely rooms, first class friendly service, huge pool, amazingly clean and superb attractive gardens. Cons - the food was mass catering, buffet style, edible but bland and not especially well presented. The beach was truly horrible. Very pebbly, seriously uncomfortable to walk on, painful to get into the sea and not very attractive to sunbathe on (although beds around the pool were plentiful and comfortable. "We arrived at 4pm after a three hour car journey, it took them some time to find our booking, we were then told the room was not ready (despite check in said to be available from 12.30). After a further wait, with no offer of refreshment or apology, we were shown to a room which had no fridge and whose key had "been taken by the previous occupants". We complained firmly, and the key was produced within 5 minutes along with a fridge. Overall, there were difficulties communicating with the staff...

"It was our the best stay in Sicily. Quiet, peaceful place; local cuisine for dinner; very pleasant hosts; spacious room and jet tub worked very well. Location is perfect for visiting Modica, Noto and Ragusa. Rural, beautiful area! Will definitely stay there again when visiting Sicily. Thank you!"

"Great property, family friendly, Lots to do with kids. The rooms are a bit dated and not well maintained but the grounds are beautiful. Food was okay nothing to rave about the breakfast wasnt worth it. The bars, pools, slides, shops and all all were great. "
