"Spent the night with a friend at Canal Park Lodge on the way to a girls North Shore weekend. First time staying at the lodge, but not the last. The lodge is beautiful inside and out, gorgeous gardens, the employees were very friendly and accommodating, the breakfast - great coffee, delicious hash browns (and more) and shiny white plates! Can’t wait for my next visit!"

"The walls were thin. Could hear next door neighbors."

"I loved the property! would stay there again."

"Clean room but the front desk staff was asleep (we checked in around 7pm). The carpet in the hallways were severely stained and it looked like nothing in the hotel hadn’t been updated since the property was built which is crazy considering this was not a cheap hotel. The restaurant was a 9/10."

"Convenient location with parking garage. Great restaurant and staff."

"Nice place for the price, clean and friendly"

"Took a bit to find my room, as the attendant didn't bother to point me in the right direction and the room numbers were out-of-synch (130 was next to 135 and across the hall from 137)! USB ports in the room didn't work, and the shampoo and conditioner bottles were detached from their broken holders in the tub. The in-window air conditioner was very, very loud, but fortunately it was cool enough at night that I could keep it off. The light in the bathroom also turns on a very loud fan. The bed...

"Had a brief but very good stay. The facilities are really clean, a lot of creativity and thought went into putting this place together, and what a great result - visual appeal, art and design everywhere. Wonderful funky atmosphere! My only complaint is about the bunks they are great for younger people who are fit climbers and strong enough to get in and out of the space quietly. I’d guess only about 14% of Americans can do that. I felt like I passed an agility test 😁 I’d recommend some kind of...

"Unfortunately, we were pretty disappointed with our stay this weekend. The rooms were clean, but the walls were so thin we could hear entire conversations in the room next to us, and doors slamming throughout the night actually shook our room. Dinner was also disappointing. My food was extremely overcooked and I barely ate it. Our server agreed there was an issue and offered to take a portion off the bill. Then, while we were paying, he said, “I would’ve taken the whole thing off,” and kind of...

"Room was clean, staff courteous and helpful, very good breakfast and many options. Parking very accessible."

"I chose this property to stay at because they had the best nightly rate and had good reviews. It was a perfect choice! Staff was friendly. The entry was very clean and decorated beautifully for Fall. The room was very clean as well. I will be staying here again."

"The room was refreshingly updated and clean. Friendly front desk staff."

"Everything was great. Friendly and accommodating."
