"The property itself is average but the check in process is just awful. First, the real location is absolutely nowhere near where they’ve listed as their address, making it difficult to find the property. It is much further from the port and beach than advertised. Next, there is no front desk or staff on site, but rather they request you let them know when you will arrive so the staff can be there to check you in. I told them well in advance when I would be arriving, however no staff was there...

"Amanita is a very special guesthouse in all respects. Beautifully planned and comfortable. Wonderfully close to beautiful beaches. The owners, Filoretas and Mariana are lovely people. very hospitable, and helpful in all respects. The breakfasts offered at Amanita afe an experience in themselves. It is somewhat out of the way, but all the advantaged mentioned above fully make up for the distance"
