"Room very clean and good stock of toiletries including bath robe and slippers. Coffee making machine + coffee pods as an extra to normal supply of teas and coffees in sachets. We had a suite which was excellent with a lot of space and facilities including iron/ ironing table. Large bailcony with loungers+ towels. Breakfast buffet style - reasonable choice. Large hotel, staff generally helpful but service therefore less personal. My suitcase flew off the shuttle as maybe not placed correctly and was badly scratched. No apology. "

"The staff here could not be more helpful and friendly. I felt very welcomed and safe. The property sits on a lakefront with abundant wildlife. I enjoy photography and one of the staff kayaked me with my camera around the lake to take photographs of the wildlife. Like I said the service is unparalleled and the food is excellent. The staff is prompt and plans were followed up to the letter. It doesn’t get any better."

"Very professional staff, incredible location near the entrance to Yala National Park. The staffs English could be improved upon but the staff were very attentive, warm and helpful. The room we had was incredible. Very large with all the amenties you could expect. The small private pool was nice but cold and not really used. The food at the restaurant was well prepared and reasonably priced. They have both an international food and local Sri Lankan menu to choose from. We look forward to returning some day!"

"Magnifique vue sur le lac. Hôtel idéalement placé car pas trop loin de la ville. Cependant déjeuner pas super pour 6€ par personne. La chambre est bien mais les finitions 0 par contre le personnel est au petit soin. Manque de sun bed au bord de la piscine. "

"Agreed by the whole family to be the best hotel and stay of our Sri Lanka & Singapore trip (overall we stayed at 11 different hotels of varying quality). Can't really rave enough about this place. I wouldn't really call it a hotel - more like a luxury, boutique accommodation. Exceptional in every way. Pros - Service - exceptional, Upul is the only one who we knew by name but everyone was wonderful - Pool - the hotel was full but there were rarely more than 4-5 people at the pool and even then it felt like you had it yourself - Close to Yala National Park - kicking ourselves we did one safari here and one from another (further) hotel as it was so close to the park it would have been much easier travel wise - Organised a safari for us from the hotel and packed snacks and cold water which was very thoughtful (we paid the driver directly and it was well priced) - Yummy cocktails and good food - Great value for money and even more so considering some of the other places we stayed - Nice large, clean, modern, and comfy rooms with a great view of the fields - The little extras make it extra special - they had archery, basketball and a mini golf course - Serene and peaceful, R&R achieved - Like an oasis and with beautiful, natural surroundings - Space - just felt personal and like we had the place almost to ourselves Cons I can't really think of anything. You won't be disappointed booking a stay here. "
