"Due to flooding, hotel was being renovated."

"The staff was fantastic!"

"This was a really cute place to stay. It’s literally within walking distance to the historic downtown, which was so convenient. The staff was really nice. The room was nice and clean overall highly recommend."

"I enjoyed my stay at the Baxa Inn and would stay there again. The room was clean and comfortable. The price was fair. However, the ice machine was broke, the bathtub did not have a plug for bathing, and it was very noisy in the mornings. There was a construction crew working directly behind my room."

"We booked this hotel while on the road at the last minute. We booked it just after midnight and arrived within the hour, only to find a sign on the door saying they were out and would not be back until 7 am. So we had to book another hotel. That is frustrating, but not as frustrating as the fact that they then refused to refund my money for the room, despite the fact that we could not get in. Terrible customer service. Do not use this hotel."

"Beautiful property with a beautiful cabin! The view was pretty and peaceful. The owners were very nice and helpful. I highly recommend this place for anyone! "

"I was able to book a round of golf on the morning we left and had a wonderful time."

"We had a perfect stay. The room was clean, building was clean and the breakfast was the best"

"Conveniently located with good choice of restaurants close by"
