"Was an excellent stay. Motel units were really clean, super comfy beds and bathroom linen. It was a freezing cold night and the rooms were very warm and well insulated. Kitchen well stocked with everything you could need for self catering. Staff very friendly and helpful. "

"It was a lovely room. Just the right size for our one night stay. We were annoyed that the electric blanket was incredibly hard to find and plug in to use. I broke my permanent bracelet trying to lift the whole mattress to get to the plug on both beds. The heater has 3 different places to make sure it is on (overkill), had to call the desk to get it working. Positives: it is a lovely old hotel with a quirky room system. "Very accommodating manager. Couldn't do more to make us comfortable!! One criticism is the shower was tricky!! Hot water didn't come on easily. We eventually got it going after seeing the notice on the wall. The shower floor was very slippery, as the curtains didn't keep the outside dry, so quite dangerous when wet. I had to dry the floor leading to the toilet to prevent my husband, and myself, from slipping. Needs an air vent/ expel fan. The kitchen could benefit also from an expel fan. "

"We were lucky to arrive as the hotel was nearly shutting for the night, the duty manager was very welcoming. Rooms were very spacious with entrances to the courtyard as well."
