Legends Beach Resort

8/10 Good

"Loved the rustic and intimate feel of the property. Furnishings were a bit outdated. The staff was great, and my family and I enjoyed the Glass Bottom Boat excursion to Booby Island. The Staff - Kady in the dining room was very helpful and pleasant. We loved how close the pool and beach were. The only drawback was the air conditioner in my room, which wasn't operating properly, and we saw garbage piled up beside one of the rooms, which was unsightly. Overall, the stay was good, restful, and peaceful. I would recommend this resort if one needs peace, intimacy, and who would appreciate a typical Jamaican experience."

"I love the pool and swim-up bar but I didn’t like that they didn’t clean the room daily. I like fresh towels each day and that was not provided but it was close to restaurant and good food. The schedule was not regular because the bar didn’t always open on time but once it opened it was good."

"We stayed in Sagi and loved it. The outdoor shower was a little exposed based on if there are boats in the ocean outside the window going to ricks, but there is a shower inside the hut too so that was just fine. The AC works great. The music at ricks was loud until about 9pm which didn't bother us. You can hear noise from Ivan’s too, and the hut shares a wall with the restaurant, which is probably the biggest downside (you can hear Ivan’s and perhaps Ivan’s can hear you too) - I think it was completely fine though. Beautiful property, very helpful staff, and we enjoyed many rides with Barry who is a driver for the resort. Sharks restaurant across the street was phenomenal local food."

"I am a repeat guest at this boutique hotel. It’s authentic feel is one it’s best features laid back and with modern amenities….the WiFi can be sketchy inside the rooms so television watching is an issue. Rooms are clean.The breakfast is usually good but runs out quickly …Bar is pricey but options are available. Expedia showed me as getting an additional discount of $100.00USD per room but that was false as that did not reflect on payment….staff is very friendly management when on property. Will go back but don’t believe it when Expedia says you get an extra discount"

"Couples Swept does just that sweep you away! The property is stunning & the amenities are amazing! One of my favorite things was every time you came out to the gorgeous Seven Mile Beach you were not fighting or searching for a beach chair. There was plenty for everyone to enjoy! As far as food because I didn’t see this in many reviews - I want to highlight during breakfast you will enjoy authentic Jamaican breakfast, along with other breakfast staples likes an omelette station, pancake, waffle station - all freshly made! For lunch you can enjoy jerk chicken, patties & coco bread or vegan based options at the lunch bar grills! However for dinner, you are not getting authentic Jamaican food. That is more catered to folks who are more into American fare food with some Jamaican flavors. I wished there was more option for dinner - maybe have one of the restaurants have a buffet style with authentic cuisine. Now, the resort offers so much to do whether you want to beach rot with a good book, float in the beautiful sea, or swim on pools those options are all there! Along with tons of water sports that are apart of your stay!!!! The transportation to other excursions is excellent and they literally ensure all is done for you! My husband and I will return - we just know for dinner we will get a taxi to attend local restaurants! One more thing - the spa and massage is amazing!!!!!!"

"The Samsara Cliff resort was a great place for a quite get away. The staff was so friendly and the manager was extremely accommodating. If you enjoy snorkeling and are not afraid of a little swell, the view under the water was excellent. The view at sunset was great too! We originally booked the garden cottages and we were not pleased with the condition of them and we were very quickly offered an ocean front room at no extra fee."

"If you’re looking for serenity and a more private peaceful calm and relaxing vacation place to stay.. this is it. The beach is like your own private beach and keep very clean. There’s a restaurant on the property that makes excellent breakfast especially the vegetarian omelette and the local Jamaican food breakfast. Why look anywhere else where this is a one stop shop for a excellent vacation experience."
