"The hotel is on the Thames but that's about the only nice thing about this place. Be prepared to walk along dark narrow hallways and up steep stairs. If you like Victorian boarding houses then this is the place for you. I booked in on a hot night, no air-conditioning. I managed to open one window which almost came off its hinges. "The floor was falling apart in the bathroom and the basin was blocked, the water took ages to drain away. The 'breakfast' was awful and was just a to go bag. Should not be advertised as a bed and breakfast."

"Avoid! Club Quarters Hotel Covent Garden / Holborn. We had no advance notice there would be disruptive work on the hotel and found the lobby was half closed for various work in rooms and the floors. I asked if the drilling or hammering would stop on Saturday and Sunday. We were assured by the man on the front desk that was the case. But the noise started at from 8:30am on Saturday. The walls are paper thin, anyway, and you can hear your neighbour quite easily. in fact, the room was just weird....

"Hotel was very busy when I stayed as a couple events on at the time. Some rowdy people. But staff handled it well. Compact room was clean, a bit drafty from the Velux window but managed as the weather wasn't too bad. Plenty parking, didn't struggle considering gym/swimming onsite for local residence. Interactions I had with staff was pleasant. Great location and town centre not a far drive away. Park not far a walk away either. Reasonably priced, but doubt I'd stay there again."
