"We didn’t stay at Le Cheval Blanc as it was closed for holidays, Hotels.com advised of a nearby chambres d’hôtes and we stayed there ‘Au clos de Charny’ which was lovely, our only problem was our room was up two flights of steep stairs. The room was spacious and clean with a large comfortable bed, a very nice shower room with a good shower. The breakfast was superb, a great choice of cheeses and charcuterie, breads, homemade jams, fresh fruit salad and yoghurt. The host is a lovely lady too."

"Napoleon the Ist slept here during one night coming back from Elba in 1815. This historic hotel offers quiet and spacious bedrooms even if the decoration is a bit aging, bathrooms have been restaurated and are fully confortable. The restaurant takes place in a very pleasant dining room and the food is quite fine. There is a free large parking place even if a bit difficult to find ! To sum up, I enjoyed the night I spent in the place ! "
