"This hotel is in a fabulous location! Rooms are very clean and well maintained, and many are recently updated. Pool is a nice plus and there are lots of chairs. The back of the property could use a little more TLC, e.g., landscaping, shrubbed maintenance, trimming bushes etc. we will definitely stay here again!"

"Room was not cleaned. Apparently you have to request to get a room cleaned. Also, had to pay $20 to check in an hour early even though the room was empty. Breakfast was packaged danish and coffee....thats it. The hotel has declined over the years as I have stayed there well over 20 years. May keep looking around, lots of B and Bs closer to the water."

"Three good things- the location to town (12 minute walk), the shower water pressure and the WIFI strength. Unfortunately, the unit we stayed in (the cottage) was not well maintained. Outside- The deck was extremely uninviting with old furniture and pealing paint. And the stairs leading up to the unit were at best unstable. Inside- the kitchen had been updated but the rest of the unit was tired and needed an upgrade. Many things broken or in disrepair."

"Lovely dedicated couple living on the premises. Breakfast was limited to cereals, muffins, croissants, fruit etc. more than adequate and served very cleanly."

"I was surprised the restaurant only served breakfast. I really liked the black out curtains which helped with the good nights rest. The robes in the closet looked very nice though didn’t get the chance to use them or go in the pool."

"The Beach House Inn is a very nice property in a terrific location. We chose a lower priced room, so looked out onto the parking lot. Overall, our stay was great and we really enjoyed it. There were only two detractors and they're here for information; not to prevent anyone from choosing this property. It's an older building and the walls are quite thin. We were privy to the conversation of our next door neighbors (and they were just speaking to each other in a normal tone; not being loud)....
