"The hotel is lovely, the rooms are amazing, right on the Chobe River. The food is delicious. But the excursions ended up hurting the experience a bit. The Chobe River is the border between Namibia and Botswana. We arrived via Botswana, and the only way to reach the hotel is by boat. And every time you leave the hotel, you need to take a boat and go through 2 immigration processes (entry and exit of each country), both on arrival and departure from the hotel. "Das freundlichste Personal auf unserer Reise, es gab nach dem Abendessen noch traditionelle Musik! Pool mit Ausblick auf Krokos und Warane. Interessanter Game Drive auch wegen der vielen Vögel. Sehr gutes Essen, für den Day Trip in den Chobe wurde uns ein Breakfast Package und ein Transport zur Border bereitgestellt! Die Tische werden nur innen im Restaurant eingedeckt, man kann aber auch draußen essen. Das Personal ist an dieser Stelle etwas landestypisch."

Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft – von unserer Terrasse aus konnten wir die Hippos nicht nur hören, sondern sogar beobachten. Diese Nähe zur Natur hat den Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht. "A lovely lodge located on a gentle hill overlooking the plains. Staff are phenomenal, warm and welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. We went on a morning game drive and a sundowner, both were excellently arranged. Whilst there is limited choice for food, breakfast, lunch and dinner were all provided and the food was tasty and homemade well seasoned. They made our daughter chips. We loved the warm rock cakes! Beautiful, large Cabins, comfortably furnished with the most beautiful views over the amazing Zambezi River that was experiencing higher-than-average water levels this year - which was simply breathtaking. Enjoyed the morning and sundown cruises and the excellent dinner arrangements. Genuinely friendly and helpful staff. Loved every moment and will certainly be back on my next trip to the mesmerising Caprivi Region."

"Lovely welcome on arrival. Tent was clean, private, comfortable with fabulous views. Staff were attentive, served us with a smile and could not do enough for us. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and plentiful and tea with cookies was a nice touch at 4 pm. We had a wonderful game drive with Dusty, who is very knowledgeable, informing us about local customs in the area too. I was unfortunately not well during our stay, however the staff could not be more accommodating and kind to me."
