#TroveOn for this #WeekendGetaway for the month of July is #Oahu #Hawaii. This morning, my friend and I hiked the Diamond Head Summit Trail which is the trail that leads to the top of the Diamond Head crater. This time of the year, hot. It was very scorching hot walking at the trails and it was very crowded. I seriously felt like I'm-never-gonna-make-it-to-the-top-because-it's-too-hot hot. Tip is to get there early since it opens very early at 6 am. Although even that time, I feel like the sun is already at its peak.

I got there around 8:30 am after a stop at KCC Farmer's Market which was held across the street. This #hike has very easy and established trails to follow since it has railings. The path is very dry and a but uneven but it was very manageable to walk to. It is very family friend hike as a lot of families with children of all ages. There is also a lot of stairs in this hike. More so than what I wanted, though there's an option to skip those for winding lookout trail which I did. It took me about 1h50m to go up, enjoy the lookouts and take photos, and go back down the crater.
