"When you arrive with a car, there is no place to pull into, and no one to open the gate to the parking lot. I had to illegally park 2 blocks away, then walk back to ask them to open the gate."

"Lovely hotel, bit out in the sticks but great for a peaceful retreat. Problems entering the room wasn’t dealt with terribly well but eventually we sorted it. We had a steep winding staircase in our room, whilst very pretty, at 83 with an injured leg would have been useful to know in advance. Also no plug sockets at all on the bed level so the alarm had to be set downstairs … and turned off via the rather steep stairs. Lovely place."

Free breakfast and free happy hour in the evening with drinks and nibbles was a great added bonus. Very well kept and clean property. Bed and mattress was super comfortable.
