"Not impressed with a member of bar staff, wanted to talk to a lad rather then, fetch what we’d asked for. Had to go back and ask her to stop talking as our food was out and husband wanted sauce. Hubby asked her for sauce when we put order in, food took around 1:2 hour yet I had to go and ask twice !!!! When we booked in wasn’t asked if interested in breakfast for £10, so when we went down in morning was told would have to pay £11.50 each as wasn’t paid day before, manger did resolve this but...

"Traditional style hotel, friendly, courteous staff throughout the stay, room was small but had everything we needed for our one night stay, clean bathroom, although the showers water pressure wasn't the best. Excellent evening meal and breakfast, located just off the main road, very good for exploring the rest of the village."
