"The owner, Claudia, was amazing. So helpful and kind. Parking in back was much appreciated, breakfast was freshly made, delicious and served in one of the beautifully decorated common areas. The room was comfortable and clean. The mansion is pre Civil War and furnished accordingly with antiques. If you're looking for modern hotel amenities you will be disappointed, but if you're looking for charm, warmth and a gracious host, you will love Ragland Mansion. Pet friendly as a welcome bonus!"

"Beautiful historic property in a very cute neighborhood. The restaurant and bars were very well staffed, service was excellent and dinner was delicious, get the coconut cake! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice getaway or en route further south. Hoping for an opportunity to visit again."

My granddaughter was disappointed and we went elsewhere for breakfast. breakfast as an amenity is part of the reason we choose holiday inn express. a protocol to get units repaired or replaced "quickly" should be instituted and customers should be made aware of the issue during check in. "I travel alot and this hotel was such a welcome experience. I was greet so enthusiastic when I entered and I felt that the front desk really cared about my stay. The hotel lobby smelled wonderfully and was very clean. The room was comfortable and clean. The restaurant was wonderful. There is a diverse menu that actually had dishes with real vegetables, not juat burgers and pizza. The breakfast was also top notch. The sercers were personable and attentive.
