Unique and beautiful

We enormously enjoyed our stay at Oxygen Villas. The staff was wonderful, the rooms and view of the Pacific were spectacular, and the food and drinks were delicious. We especially enjoyed walking the trails and enjoying the natural pools and waterfalls on the property. One of the most enjoyable stays I have ever experienced.

Awesome place the staff after a few days started to feel like family. The views that we had there were excellent. The food was very good, the pool and the villas are top notch. Extremely clean and they maintained our rooms every time we left it. The staff were incredible supporting with all our activities we did and the planning our breakfast in the morning before our morning expeditions. Everyone there made the experience just so much better and eventful. Y’all did very well. Good job people.

If you’re looking for quiet peacefulness…

Wonderful place to chill. Just hanging out in the villa with views like the patio seating or hammock…the gorgeous infinity pool overlooking the jungle and ocean…the restaurant is great food and cocktails. We ate dinner there all 4 nights and went into town for lunch and beach a couple of the days. We got a couples massage at their spa which is so peaceful by the waterfall. I did suggest that they offer daily yoga as the website is misleading and it looks like they do but you have to book a private session for $70. Including yoga would be a great way to enhance the stay and allow guests to meet each other. There are no activities included so you’re on your own to enjoy the grounds. It’s all couples since it’s adult only and everyone kept to themselves - it was so peaceful and serene. We would definitely go back! We saw toucans and monkeys from our villa and pool!

Gorgeous location

A stunning place! The bar/restaurant and pool area are truly breathtaking and have been done to a very high standard. The staff were all fantastic and the food was generally good. There is lots to explore locally including the free waterfalls you can access from the hotel, a bigger waterfall further down the hill which id definitely recommend and Marino Ballena National park. The only reasons why I haven’t rated this 5 stars is I think the food is very expensive for Costa Rica (and was not the best food we had on our trip - dinner for two was $100 for a shared starter and dessert and a main each, no drinks) and the breakfast is lacking. For the price and calibre of the hotel, you’d expect a continental buffet or something alongside the one breakfast option you get to pick. On our first morning we ordered a smoothie bowl and paid for this in addition as we would have still been hungry otherwise. We noticed other people ordering and paying for additional fruit etc. which I don’t think is right for the price point of this place. I would avoid villa 1, we had a sewage smell (which they did look into) and it’s very close to the pool/staff area. We could hear them early which didn’t bother us as we were up early anyway but if you want to lay in, I’d request a different villa.
