There is some mild traffic noise from the buses early morning but nothing to do with the property. This didn’t affect the stay and wasn’t noisy enough to disrupt any sleep. "There are not enough superlatives to describe this hotel and its incredible grounds! The food was Excellent - better than the Michelin * restuarants I have been to recently in London and Venice. The grounds are spectacular - all 66 acres of them and its worth visiting just for this alone. The bedrooms are very nice and confortable. We had an Orangery suite which has Aircon. The Main house rooms do not. The staff were superb! Expecially compared to some other much more expensive hotels where the service really lets them down. "
