"Stunning rooms with beautiful views. The staff were all super helpful and lovely throughout and able to provide great recommendations when asked. The sauna facilities were excellent (beautifully designed and functional - truly 5 star) and the heated pool just fantastic. Not to mention the food either which was sensational from breakfast to lunch and dinner with non-staying guests regularly stopping by for food and drinks. "The hotel was superbly located for access to the Ullevi Stadium. Staff were really friendly and there was no issue with our lack of Swedish. The breakfast options were plentiful. The room felt a bit cramped, but it served its purpose. It was great that there was an ironing board and iron in the room without having to call reception for one. The restaurant couldn’t handle the number of customers in the evening (due to the football match), and turned away my group and two others. The price of snacks etc on offer was amazingly cheap. Not sure if that was the hotels pricing or the transfer rate from Kr to GBP. We’d probably stay here again if we wanted access to the Ullevi stadium or the theme park which is just up the road."
