"We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All of the lodge buildings are very sympathetically designed, and blend well with the surroundings. Everywhere is very clean and maintained to a high standard. We loved sitting on the bar stools and watching the monkeys and morpho butterflies. All staff were polite, friendly and helpful, and assisted us with booking excursions. The food was very tasty and beautifully presented, as were the cocktails! We loved the quirky bed in our cabin, and enjoyed sitting on the veranda and watching all the wildlife in the creek below - juvenile caimans, turtles, lizards, dragonflies, and my absolute favourites - hummingbirds. Listening to the orchestra of sounds at night was at night was fantastic! We did a night walk and we're amazed at our guide's knowledge, enthusiasm, and ability to spot creatures that we would never have seen without him! The trails within the grounds are easy to follow, and there is so much to see - including the resident sloth - ask the staff and they will point him out to you. I was thrilled to see so many hummingbirds. Danta Corcovado Lodge is a great place, and all staff work hard to ensure that guests are well looked after and enjoy their stay."

It was our 56th wedding anniversary and they sent a nice chachuterie board to our room. Every evening the maid came by with a sweet treat for each room. I returned home feeling recharged rather than tired, which is a rare and welcome result of a vacation. Dining & Drinks The culinary experience is a highlight. While they don’t serve a traditional "Tico" breakfast, the healthy options provided were excellent and gave me plenty of energy for the day. Honestly, there is no need to head into town for lunch or dinner; the food here is some of the best in the area in terms of both quality and cost. For those who enjoy a drink, the bar is well-stocked with a great variety of liquors and a consistently cold supply of beer. Service & Amenities Service: The staff is incredibly polite and helpful. Whether I needed a lighter or specific food requests, they were attentive and professional. Cleanliness: The room cleaning service was flawless.
