"Our room was clean and large, nicely appointed. Beds and pillows were comfortable. We could have used an extra luggage rack, only one in the room. Hallways and elevator was clean also. The breakfast room was well stocked with assorted breakfast items including fresh watermelon. Coffee was plentiful. We would stay here again on our next trip to Sagatuck."

"Stood here for 2 nights with my family of 5. The hotel overall was very clean and modern. Staff was very friendly, the breakfast buffet was decent, the only down side was the pool. We didnt get to swim in it the 2 nights we stood, it was always packed because of how small the pool was. Other than the pool totally recommended!!! 9/10"

"The Pines is a quintessential motor lodge, exactly what I recall from my youth! It is immaculate, well appointed and the location is perfect providing an easy walk to both Douglas and Saugatuck! The owner is hands on, personable and very accommodating. I would absolutely return!"

"Our stay was excellent. This was out first time there and it didn't disappoint. My only suggestion would be that you make sure that you bring an extension cord with multiple outlets on that cord. There are only a few outlets in the tent, so extension cords would be very helpful. Other than that, I highly recommend this place."
