"We had a very pleasant stay overall. The hotel has a charming retro style, and while the rooms are a bit older, they are well maintained and have a lot of character. What stood out the most was the hospitality. The owner and staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made the whole stay feel very personal. "Nice hotel with a historical building and nice pool. The downside is that the furniture needs renovation, pillows are non comfortable, the bathroom sinks are noisy and hard to open. Also, we paid for extra occupancy but we get only one bottle of water."

"This was an overnight stop on our way to Italy. The hotel was very quiet despite close proximity to the motorway. The staff were really helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed. Nice views over the surrounding hills. No tea/coffee in the room but a station off reception with free water, tea and coffee. "The hotel is located on the mountain and the view of lake Lugano is spectacular. As it turns out, the rest of the experience was less so. We arrived around 10pm and by then, the kitchen was closed. The staff reluctantly served us drinks while at the same time wiping tables and closing down - despite the fact that the bar was supposed to stay open for another 30 minutes. "We stayed at the hotel in March 2026. The hotel is dated, but clean. The staff were nice. The hotel rooms were clean. But the heat was so high it was very uncomfortable to sleep. Pillows were so soft your head was on the bed despite the pillow. The hotel and staff and patrons looked right out of 1970’s Lawerence Welk show. From the way we were served, to the food"

"Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon Richtung See. Leider waren vor dem Hotel zur Zeit Bauarbeiten die schon um vor 7 Uhr begannen. Sonst ist die Lage des Hotel nur zu empfehlen. Zurückgezogen von der Strasse, alles schnell zu Fuss erreichbar. Die Bushaltestelle in 2 Gehminuten erreichbar. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist frisch und vielfältig. Alle finden was sie wünschen. Die Rezeption war auch eine grosse Hilfe für uns. Wir wurden sehr kompetent Beraten. Besten Dank."
