"Friendly staff. Comfortable room. We would stay there again."

"The hotel is very good, and the shuttle to the ski slopes makes things much easier, so you don’t need to drive there—which would be terrible during peak season. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. The only downside of the hotel is the optional 5% tip; for a five-star hotel, it puts you in an awkward position at check-out. In addition, it introduces a “tip culture” that is not standard in Europe."

"This hotel is a gem!! Flanked by stunning 360 degree views of the snow capped mountains and the valley below we were totally enchanted. Our host was so friendly and helpful and gave us suggestions on where to hike and where to eat. Their breakfast was extensive - eggs , cured meats , breads and cakes. We couldn’t ask for more. "The check in process was smooth and Karin was great. The overall stay was fine the room was comfortable and clean, nothing special. The location is good and close to walk to the train station. Unfortunately the check out process was terrible. We had a flight we had to go to Geneva to catch so wanted to leave at 7am, right when reception opened. However the staff were not ready for use and were rude when we asked for their help."

"This stopover was part of our European road trip, so stayed at 5 other hotels along the way. Room & shower facilities were nice and we managed to watch England play on the TV where other hotels did not have British channels. The only disappointing factor was that our room overlooked the staff car parking, the bins and smokers which wasn't very pleasant. Informed reception who accepted our feedback and would make improvements. Other than this, lovely hotel/restaurant."

"Awesome place in Zermatt, close to the train station, centrally located to all shopping places and restaurants. Staff was very helpful and the place was extremely well kept. The breakfast was awesome, will definitely recommend the mouth watering croissants and pastries they serve. Would highly recommend this place for anyone planning to stay in Zermatt on their vacation."
