"Overall our experience was excellent, although we did have to ease into it. When we arrived there was a big party leaving and so our arrival was almost unacknowledged and we were also slightly disappointed to learn that due to 100% occupancy not all of our restaurant choices were possible for dinner during our stay. Credit to Sandals because their customer care team were able to get us into the Piton Restaurant on our final night, despite us being told it was fully booked. That said, we did have excellent food and service in all of the other places where we ate, including the mainly buffet Pavillion Restaurant. The beach and outside facilities are fabulous and were always spotless, with more than enough friendly staff around to help out. Our room was excellent too and when the a/c developed a slight leak it was attended to the same day. One thing which might frustrate some holidaymakers is the dawn sunlounger run. Those affluent guests with "butler" had them bagging beds as early as 5.30 in the morning and by 7.00 am there was never anything available by the main pool; even though everyone was either back in bed or getting ready for breakfast & the bar didn't open until 10.00. When you spend so much money on the experience it is pretty poor that this ellement isn't better controlled and it will alienate some people. We went to the other resorts at Halcyon & The Grande but preferred La Toc and the interresort shuttles were good. The airport transfer was also excellent."

"We had a great stay at Secrets All-Inclusive Resort in Gros Islet, Castries. The resort itself is beautiful and offers a wonderful overall experience, but what truly made our visit special was the staff. From start to finish, we were surrounded by attentive, helpful, and genuinely kind people. A special thank you to Natalia, Aaron, Kashmaya at the pasta station, Sparkles, Selma, Mark Daniel, and Ms. Lydia from housekeeping, along with the many amazing team members at the front desk and bell service. Their exceptional service and warm personalities made all the difference. Highly recommend this resort for not just the amenities, but for the outstanding people who make your stay unforgettable."

"Staff were amazing from arrival and throughout our stay. Incredibly helpful and all extremely well trained to be friendly and accommodating. Johan (I think) one of the ambassadors, John - one of concierge team at the front desk and Jimmy a shuttle bus driver were all truly outstanding and made our stay great. Giselle and Shanna are AMAZING masseurs- definitely book a treatment with them. Breakfast was very good with a wide selection and the different restaurants were also good (didn’t try the Italian). Most villas are based up very steep hills but the 24 hour shuttle service was efficient. The hotel is isolated so a taxi is to get to anywhere offsite, but onsite activities and entertainment were plentiful. We did a catamaran trip which included mud bath (optional) visit to a volcano, swimming/ snorkelling and a delicious lunch. The route took in one side of the island including the twin pitons. A fabulous day. A really great stay marred only by the one and only borderline rude member of staff who checked us out - Skyie. No reason why she was so unpleasant but thankfully she wasn’t the last person we spoke to - that was the lovely and upbeat John, thank you!"
