"There was some construction going on at the time (we barely heard it, not a big deal) and a little mix up with housekeeping, so I can’t give 5 stars across the board. But it was otherwise very good, staff were friendly, rooms were clean and in good condition. We were there for a week and appreciated that the complimentary breakfast was a little different every day so there was variety. I think it’s the best the place to stay in the area. Pool was great!"
"Room was clean and beautifully decorated. Staff was kind and always helpful. They were very attentive. Parking was easy. We were in a room across the street and this didn’t affect our stay in any negative way. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in the area."
"Pecan Cottages was super cute, clean and comfortable. We had the Davey Crockett cottage for our 2 night stay while we were visiting some family we have seen for over 30 years! It was a perfect choice over a standard hotel room. Quaint and cute, the decor was well thought out and strategic. It was an old school cabin for sure but had wifi, mini frig, Keurig and TV, everything ya needed was there! Bed was comfortable and we slept pretty good! Charity and Clint (the owners) were really nice and helpful and easy to communicate with! Turns out our family knew them really well and go way back!!! We had no idea when we booked it. Thank you for sharing your great little place! We will stay with you all again next time we come back to town!"
"We really enjoyed this property. it was very well maintained and the staff was great. Housekeeping was very thorough and made sure our room was spotless. I very seldom give an excellent rating for anything but I must say that I was impressed. most of the 2 star motels are rundown and look very old on the inside and out, but I must say that the staff as well as housekeeping were a pleasure to interact with. I almost never give tips to the housekeeping of any motel but I had to leave them a tip and thank them for a job well done. Finally after a year traveling place to place and city to city I found a place who actually earned there money and a tip. Keep up the good work and you will absolutely have my business every time my wife and I come to Mayfield Kentucky. Thank you all for your attention to detail and the polite and friendly way that you treat everyone and how clean you keep your motel. I will definitely recommend you and look forward to my next stay. If you are looking for a quiet stay at a very clean place that is within your budget this is the place to go. Thanks again!"
