We usually go up to the North Shore to hike, but this time we explored Duluth & found they have plenty of local trails. We hiked in Bagley Nature Area and Lester Park--scenic trails in woods & along the river. Also liked the Glensheen Mansion tour.

Duluth is always a fun destination, beautiful lake views and lots of fun dining and shopping options. Not the easiest city to drive around in and not a very walkable city by any means. Good breweries and good people make it a go to!

We were able to visit Glensheen mansion and Split Rock Lighthouse. We also had a great time seeing live music (Todd Eckart) at the Rathskeller speakeasy bar. The music was fantastic and the ambiance was wonderul.

Canal park makes a great weekend getaway. We had tons of fun at the antique mall two blocks away. Love Creamery makes great Ice Cream, also a block away. Who doesn't like walking along Lake Superior?

Driving up Hwy 35 and the first you see is industrial area for shipping. Not the most attractive area but keep going because the downtown area is wonderful. Lots of shops and nice walking path. Lift bridge and seeing a ship leave was amazing! Fun!!

Duluth has been and is still in the process of rebuilding and rebranding itself, and is removing old structures and adding new. It has many fine restaurants, great medical facilities, several good museums (of various types) and lively night life.

We loved it. It was our first visit and we went to the Aquarium and the Glensheen Mansion, the scenic drive and we got to visit the downtown area. Would love to see it again

There was SO much to do in Duluth. Sight seeing, shopping, restaurants, and attractions around the town+neighboring towns.
