"We had a wonderful stay here. The cottage is well equipped, very clean, and extremely comfortable. The view from the windows are stunning, my attached photo doesn’t do it justice at all. Our host, Richard, was helpful and friendly, sending all the information we needed in good time, and checking everything went well with arrival, our stay, and departure. We fell in love with the area, and are very much looking forward to returning very soon. "

"Really lovely wee cottage, compact but enough for a holiday for family of four. Everything you would need in the kitchen. A few minutes to the beautiful sand beach and 1 minute to a lovely pub. Great communication from owners."

"A very comfortable, roomy and well equipped property in an ideal location to explore Fife. As a group of golfers it was perfect as it was a 25 minute drive to St Andrews with other golf options nearer to the property. There was plenty of private parking and the beds were comfortable after a long day on the links. The owner, Liz, was very communicative and we had all the instructions we needed well before we arrived. Would stay again if we have a group playing at St Andrews. "

"The property is a beautiful historic home with fun trap doors and hiding places from the original owner's tea smuggling days. It has a wonderful open living and dining area with an expansive view of the town of Eyemouth. We had easy access to restaurants in town (we watched the fresh fish delivered daily), scenic hiking trails and the golf course on the hill behind the house. "Unfortunately when we arrived at 3.05pm (check-in was from 3pm) the cleaner was in the house. She said her colleague had gone to get clean linen and she was still cleaning. We asked if we could go into the kitchen to have a snack (we had been travelling all day and had brought some instant pasta which needed boiling water) but were not allowed access to the house at all.
