"Watch out for hidden charges at check-in. £50 taken from my bank immediately on top of the room charge. If I wanted to purchase anything extra, I would have paid at the time of purchasing. Now having to wait for a refund. This was not transparent enough in the T&Cs even within the confirmation email. Lifts old and creaky despite £3m upgrade, shower tiles grubby, mini bar only stocked water and wasn’t clear if this was complimentary, broken usb port by the bedside and heating system didn’t work...

"I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was spotless, well-organized, and had a fresh, clean scent as soon as I walked in. The bedding was crisp and comfortable, and housekeeping clearly paid attention to detail throughout the space. The bathroom was equally clean, with neatly arranged toiletries and no signs of wear or mess."

"Hotel wasnt too bad. Good location. Bar area is pleasnt. Checking in was slow and long winded needed id and had to fill in details online again dispite filling details to book online intially. Had alot easier and smoother checks in at better hotels Bathroom smelt of bad drains when you run water. "Kind staff and nice food and drink. Especially the £15.95 deal for pizza and drink. Room was decent but it could do with some better facilities as windows didn't open, no wardrobe and towels kept falling off the metal ball. Sink was also easily blocked due to drainage issues"
