"Hotel is well located for the city with a convenient car park. All the staff we came into contact with were lovely, polite and helpful. The room was clean as was the bathroom but everything is very dated. The bed was very uncomfortable. The shower head was held up with cable ties and an elastic band! There was an average choice at breakfast, all nicely cooked and hot."

"Looks like it was once a grand plush hotel, room dated but large and clean and the bathroom looked recently refurbed, got a triple room for same as a double which turned out to be a bonus as we had seperate bedrooms,close to station and bars, cracking stay for a game at anfield."
