"Back for a second year. The property is a beautiful house in North Durban, near a small shopping area. My bedroom was very large and well-appointed, with a large bathroom attached. This year, things are not quite as new and well-maintained as last year.
I enjoyed meeting other Comrades runners staying at the house, this year including elites.
The best thing about this house is the housekeeper Nklaka, who is unbelievably friendly, caring and efficient."
"What a lovely experience. Fairway Guesthouse was sublimely superb. As a location with an absolutely stunning view of the golf course overlooking the sea and Durban cityscapes, as well as the absolutely wonderful friendly service, that simply made us feel home away from home. "The hosts are charming and very helpful. We felt most welcome. The stay was very comfortable, and the breakfast superb. There was evidence by way of ash and ends caught in the rail of the sliding doors of the bedroom leading out to the pool, that someone had smoked in the room which was unfortunate."
