"Really lovely spacious room. I really struggle to sleep away from home but had no problem here. The beds were really comfortable and it was so quiet. The pub next door did fantastic food and all the prices were so reasonable. Thank you for a lovely stay."

"We were visiting Ushaw House and this cottage is perfect location for there, Durham and surround area. Great shower, comfy bed. Easy parking outside your door. Lovely village and great pub. The Bay Horse. Thanks to John the owner for the recommendation"

3 Feb 2020Concierge organised a taxi for us to be taken into Durham. We then went for food and drinks and the taxi company provided by Ramside Hall also came and picked us up at the end of the night, a great service.
