"I was in town for a high school class reunion, and the property was conveniently located, and the room rate was very competitive with other hotels in the area.
On the positive side, the front desk staff was superb. Friendly and extremely helpful throughout my stay. The only negative? Checking out on Sunday morning, I had to go across the street to the "main" hotel and drop off my key. After check-out time, there should be a desk clerk at the Farmstead as well.
My only complaint came during check-in on Friday afternoon. The front desk handed me my key and I went to the room. It looked fine, except for the pile of dirty towels behind the door. So, they sent me to another room--same thing. The third room proved to be the charm; clean, comfortable and no dirty towels behind the door.
Overall, I was pleased with the stay. It more than met my needs, despite a few glitches."
